Ethan, my grandson, and I colored Easter eggs on Friday morning. Nothing profound to say about the experience except that I don't remember doing it with his father and his uncle. I know I did, but this is the first time that I remember preparing for the event--putting newsprint on the counter, boiling the eggs the night before.

He had a good time and took his basket of eggs home. Easter is fundamentally about believing in the possibility of transformation all based on the premise of loving one another above all else. That's what happened to me on Good Friday. I was transformed by a 2 year-old's wonder. Happy Easter.
