Ireland Forever
Philadelphia
James Joyce's house in Dublin amidst a block of Georgian townhouses. Innishmor, the largest of the Aran Islands at low tide.
A rowhouse window in the village of Dingle, low-lying clouds reflected in the glass. All of these pictures represent memories. But the most precious part of my time in Ireland was the privilege of seeing the island through the eyes of natives. I became "the American friend".
More tomorrow as the fog of jet lag lifts.
